I was experiencing a lot of pain in my right shoulder that radiated down my arm into my wrist and thumb. My orthopedist took an x-ray and diagnosed me with bone spurs in my shoulder. Treatment options were steroid injection or surgery to remove the bone spurs. I opted for the injection which provided short term relief. I decided to try acupuncture and was lucky to find Dr. Sean Going in Essex. Sean told me on my first visit that he couldn’t eliminate the bone spurs but he could increase the blood flow to that area which should help with the pain. I experienced relief after my first visit, followed by weekly treatments which have greatly reduced my pain and stiffness. Sean is very personable and explains everything throughly.
