My family have been patients of Dr. Chung for many years. She is thorough and straight forward. That may be why some people have given lower reviews. She's there to get the job done and is quick. I know people are used to having long conversations with their doctors, and that's fine. However Dr. Chung is there to listen to the issues that you're having, run test that all eye doctors do to regulate eye pressures, make sure your eyes are healthy, etc... I would rather have a test done and know that all is well, then not. As we age things change and all of those test are needed to maintain healthy eyes. The 1st time I saw her, she listened to my needs and it was the closest to perfect vision I feel that I've had in a long time. My family feels the same way. We will be seeing her soon for some prescription updating and addressing some issues that my kids are experiencing, but I fully trust her recommendations. I would fully recommend her if you are in need of an eye doctor.

weird experience
you will be told that you have to take retina images $40 but they aren't actually mandatory, nor are they necessary in most cases without a preexisting condition/concern.you will be expected to pay for your contact exam but wont actually receive your prescription until your follow up appt.i would have appreciated this information when scheduling.office was clean but chaoticthe doc seemed sweet and dressed fun so i thought i would like her then i went to pay &things took a turni asked why i was paying for the contacts prescription if they weren't actually giving it to me. then, if i could wait to pay for my contacts prescription when i returned to pick it up at my follow upthe assistant got the doc -all the while theyre toting around my credit card which i felt was quite rude. doc takes me to the back and procedes gaslighting me. i was confused and it was kind of stressful bc i didnt feel id done anything wrong but she was very upset.finally they agree to give me my prescriptio

Awesome
Dr. Chung has helped me with my vision for over 3 years now. I drive across town to go see her. Never had an attitude, never had any issues with her treatments. I enjoy going to see her.

Never going back. She her attitude and tone of voice was unprofessional. I felt like she was as in a bad mood. Wouldn’t recommend going to any Eyemart location.

I paid for an eye exam since they were next door to VisionWorks. Priced glasses, then went to America's Best. They offer free eye exams and 2 pair were about were $150 less. Tried on the glasses but they were way off. Got a 2nd opinion glasses were correct. I went back to Dr. Chung to get a refund. Six of the numbers on the prescription were off on her exam. She said I should have come to correct the exam?!? Lack of integrity, poor service and dishonest in business. DON'T GO TO HER!

This woman yelled at me like I was a child. I 'm not even sure what happened.....thinking she must've become frustrated and impatient listening to me trying to explain my concerns about my vision. I was in the exam room a very short time and the exam itself was the shortest and least thorough that I've ever received. I'm sure the entire waiting room heard her yelling! She then walked me out to the receptionist, gave her my file and walked away. I told the receptionist I would not come back.

She was rude and obnoxious! Totally unprofessional. She spent most of the exam yelling at me. Horrible experience!
