This provider was a welcome contrast to current medical care. The practitioner was calm, relaxed, had no computer in front of her and explained her rationale regarding recommendation in an understandable way. It was a positive first meeting with this NP.

My husband came home from his first visit with Shannon and told me that he had found my primary physician as well as his. Shannon has a wonderful smile and a lovely way with people I definitely felt at ease. I think she might be stuck with me and my cranky husband! The whole office was kind and down to earth.

The BEST choice I made was switching my family to Shannon! So very happy to be able to have her to take care of us. She is a good listener and very thorough with exams. Definitely not you average I only have 10 minutes for you kind of practice! She’s also called in prescriptions for me without forcing an appointment on you like the greedy healthcare systems out there right now. Been sharing with everyone around here..worth the drive to see her!

Shannon is unlike any other PCP. Shannon listens to the patient and looks at all of the issues impacting the illness. Shannon has great judgement, explains risk vs. benefits of treatment- puts the patient in the driver’s seat. Highly accessible and responsive. I definitely hit the jackpot in getting out of the impersonal overwhelming healthcare system.

My visit with Shannon was the best I ever had! She is compassionate, attentive, and thorough. I was not waiting in the room, was seen in a timely manner introduced with a big smile. The office setting is comfortable and warm, along with the best staff anyone could ask for. If you are in need of a PCP I highly recommend you to see Shannon, I had the best experience yet meeting a new provider.

Love the fact I finally have a Dr 3min from my house but even better I absolutely love her. Today was just my 1st visit but I felt so comfortable with her I could talk to her about anything & everything ( and I did) She answers any and all questions and explains it all in detail! And Myles was Awesome. Between the both of them I felt at home! I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

Shannon is great, she really puts you at ease. I was a patient of hers at Mashpee, and an trying to make an appointment but can't get through at healthways. Mail box full. Very frustrating

N.P. Shannon is the best ! All of the staff at Mashpee family Medical are very friendly but, Shannon is my favorite. I don’t typically like female Drs or Nurse Practitioners but, She is down to earth , kind , takes the time to listen to you , doesn’t rush you and makes you feel comfortable. She’s relatable and that’s important. She doesn’t give the “I’m brushing you off” Vibe. I would honestly recommend her to everyone. I wish more NPs were like Shannon.
