Did not follow proper protocol for clearing an occluded port (ordered a slow infusion of TPA vs. protocol of a low volume instill). Then she unnecessarily ordered the entire port to be replaced. She also refused to allow my rx’d meds to be used during surgery OR contact my specialist (in hospital) in advance to clarify. AFTER my vitals flipped in the OR, she decided to call. Worst communication skills of any provider I’ve met. She should not be unsupervised due to careless, unnecessary errors.
