Bad bedside manner. Accusatory and does not listen.

Two months ago, I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis by another extremely competent provider in this same office after a thorough exam, with supporting documentation and previous x-rays in my records for that diagnoses. I recently scheduled a follow-up tele-appointment to simply request a PT referral since my initial plan was ineffective. Instead of addressing my concerns, Ms. Johnson repeatedly told me 'I will have someone call you to schedule an in-person appointment so that I can do a physical exam.' rather than explaining why they couldn't proceed with the already documented exam and diagnoses. I was in tears speaking with her because of my chronic pain and frustration that they had wasted my time in letting me schedule an appointment just to tell me they wanted to see me AGAIN in person. Ms. Johnson had no sympathy and showed no kindness. She could have spoken to me like a human, but instead it just felt like she was being lazy and didn't want to access my record. Dismissive.
