Dr. Sharon Brown, PHD

Dr. Brown was an hour late for our appointment. She was rude to my husband and made fun of him for struggling with memory. Very unprofessional and rude.

The appointment was for my mother. I didn't reach my phone in time to answer but a message was left on my answering machine to call the office. This was on a Saturday. I called on Monday but there were closed. I left a message. I called back the following day, left message. Got a call back but I had to leave and didn't get to talk to them. I called back the following day and nothing. I spoke to referring physician that my mother didn't get to see Dr. Brown. Someone in Dr. Browns office had the audacity to tell the referring physician they tried numerous time to reach me. That is a lie. I have an answering machine and I can screen my calls. Just the two calls from them.

Dr. Brown presents a pleasant personality and is apparently competent to provide in-depth cognitive testing. However, based on my experience, she and her staff does not provide patients with appropriate feedback or written reports as promised or recommended. I do not know if her record keeping is just incomplete or her staff is not competent and can not properly use a fax machine or send a report through regular mail. I've been waiting over 9 months for detailed information.
