I have been in and out of therapy for most of my adult life. There have been psychologists who have helped me through talk therapy and there have been psychiatrists and psychologists who didn't help at all. Using the EMDR approach, Sharon has helped me immensely. For the first time in my adult life, I am experiencing peace of mind and a certain lightness of being that feels like it can be a permanent part of my makeup. Sharon explained to me the process and it has worked.I'm talking a matter of several visits. The results are real and life changing. I am indebted to Sharon for her expertise and empathy.

Sharon Hyles is an expert in EMDR therapy. Initially, I was hopeful that she could help, but I was frankly rather dubious about the concept of EMDR. I quickly learned that it works, and very effectively. Sharon has made a huge difference in my life and I can only highly recommend her to anybody suffering from any form of PTSD. Sharon is also a wonderful person, kind, attentive and very dedicated to her mission to help others. That unique blend of expertise and kindness is so rare nowadays that I can only enthusiastically recommend her.

I started seeing Sharon to seek relief from PTSD, anxiety, and depression symptoms and to generally improve my overall functioning in career and in life. EMDR therapy has been a phenomenal tool Sharon uses that has helped me experience a rapid progression in reduction of symptoms. I was able to confidently take back control of my life and return to work from a medical leave I took due to suffering PTSD and anxiety after a few weeks of EMDR therapy. Sharon's organized and skilled EMDR work has helped to give me a more realistic and positive picture of who I am and what I am able to accomplish when I have appropriate boundaries in place and no longer need to rely on maladaptive coping mechanisms and defenses. I cannot recommend this therapist any higher and really am amazed by her dedicated work and precise prescriptive use of EMDR.

This has been a life changing experience for me. I have been working with Sharon for a couple months now on a weekly basis to start, and the progress and overall change in my mental health, and attitude for life has been astonishing! I have seen Sharon when I was a teenager battling anxiety. I went as far as I was ready to go and after a number of years later I find myself back ready to work on the rest. She is a kind woman who is always seeking God guidance with every session which I am grateful for.
