You may wonder why I am writing a review about Sharon Lorfing, my VATS APN, five years after the fact; I am more than happy to tell you why. As you might expect I was a bit apprehensive going into surgery and while I certainly don’t like to whine, I was quite uncomfortable after surgery. The singular bright spot in my VATS experience happened to be a very personable, and capable healthcare professional named Sharon Lorfing. I could not have hoped for a healthcare professional that was more compassionate and skilled. I explicitly recall a point when she engaged me in conversation to divert my attention from a potentially painful procedure; she finished and I had no idea she had even started. So again, why am I writing this review? I am writing this review because I think about Sharon all the time and how lucky I was to be her patient. Everyone should be so lucky to have a healthcare professional as skilled, compassionate, and personable as Sharon Lorfing. Thank you Sharon!

Sharon Lorfing is one of the kindest, compassioned and knowledgeable NP you would like to have on your team during the most difficult time in your life. I never in my life experienced such compassion in the health field. She goes way beyond. My husband was in her care at Centra state in Freehold NJ and we would like to thank her again.
