Sheila Tucke, LICSW

Sheila is a wonderful counselor who I can always turn to with questions, problems and generally dealing with all that life throws at you.

I have been seeing Sheila for almost 10 years and she has helped me through many of life's challenges: loss of pregnancy, divorce, co-parenting, raising a teenager etc. She is a great sounding board.

Sheila has been my therapist for years now. I suffer from post traumatic stress disorder and was self medicating with alcohol. I no longer have the severe flashbacks and have been alcohol free for many years. I attribute a lot of my success to Sheila's therapeutic skills and the suggestions she makes. I strongly recommend her.

Sheila observes and listens to all that you are dealing with in life. She offers real, thoughtful and supportive ideas and ways to approach and solve things. Encouraging and kind, she will help you process through and navigate difficult times. Appointments are not rushed, easy to schedule and consistent. Thankfully she doesn't just tell you want you want to hear, she will remind you of goals, treatment you deserve and to elevate your own value. I am fortunate to have her on my team.

My husband and I have been going to Shelia now for about 2 years this month. When we started our journey, my husband was hesitant. As this was his first time seeing a therapist. I was in therapy years ago due to the loss of my father. Shelia has been great !! She is kind, good listener, unbiased and direct. Shelia continues to help me work on my cognitive behavioral. I highly recommend Shelia. Everyone needs a Shelia in their life !

I am so grateful I found Sheila on Psychology Today last spring. I was seeking a therapist who specializes in loss & grief, after losing my mom. I never had a therapist prior to Sheila, and I was hesitant if anyone could really help me and if it would even be beneficial. But Sheila has been a great outside, unbiased support through my journey. Sheila is wonderful/ she is patient,very knowledgeable and is a great listener/ I ve learned so much from her as to how to deal with my challenges in this life!

What i like most about Sheila is that she really works hard with you to solve whatever is going on in your life. She is sometimes hard on me but that is a good thing because you both have to work as a team and trust each other. My overall experience with Sheila Tucke has been Excellent and thats why i give her 5 stars.
