Dr. Shifeng Yan, DOM

I’ve been seeing Dr. Shifeng Yan for acupuncture over the past couple of months, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. From the very first session, I felt completely at ease—Dr. Yan’s kindness and deep knowledge of acupuncture immediately put me in a relaxed state.I originally came to Dr. Yan for help with trigger finger, which was already in an advanced stage. After just two months of treatment, I’ve experienced almost a full recovery—something I didn’t think was possible. Additionally, Dr. Yan has been treating me for chronic back and neck pain, and I’ve noticed a significant improvement.I highly recommend Dr. Yan for anyone seeking effective and compassionate care. This is a small business owned acupuncture facility run by a husband and wife. The office is very clean and organized, consisting of multiple small private rooms with their own tables and clean gowns for changing into.I have never done acupuncture before so I was very skeptical. Dr. Yan said she could help me feel better so I figured I had nothing to lose. I started weekly sessions all consisting of scraping, cupping, acupuncture and herbs. I experienced some pain and fatigue the first few sessions but as weeks went by, my body adapted and it was no longer painful. I was surprised at how my body improved with every session.During the acupuncture, she places a red heated lamp over me, dims the lights and has soft music playing. It is then that I experience a deep state of meditation. It's so therapeutic and healing. I've never experienced anything like it. It is pure bliss. I look forward to my sessions with Dr. Yan all week. She is genuinely invested in my progress. She gave me hope.

Dr. Shifeng Yan, DOM is courteous professional an excelent listener who them asks pointed questions. She is direct and clearly knowledgeable, suggest very simple solutions. She is emphatic and intrest on your health story. Her staff it always gentle and competent. They are very caring and definitelly an excelent professionists.

Dr. Yan is extremely thorough, observant, and highly aware of the body-mind connection. I honestly didn’t know what to expect from my visit to Dr Yan as I’d been treated for my vertigo by an ENT, without good results. The truth is that I was pleasently surprised as she truly took the time to listen to me and explain what the cause of the vertigo was. She then gave me a couple of different kinds of treatments after which I felt a lot better.

Dr. Yan takes the time to get to the root cause of your condition first and then determine the treatment. In the first visit she identified an issue I have with my circulation that is casing digestive issues as well as pain in my ankles. With just two treatments I already feel better. She is knowledgeable, attentive, caring. Her office is super clean and comfortable.
