I had a really negative experience with this counselor. I specifically sought out telehealth counseling options because I cannot physically be in the room with a counselor much of the time due to my work. To be fair, my first couple of sessions with her were great and I was really excited to work with her and had started to build trust with her. It was in those first two sessions that I had explained that I would be traveling out of state often but that I lived in the state where she was licensed. During our second session, she had learned that I was again, deployed out of state and became alarmed about it for some reason and stated that she may not be able to work with me, but that she would check on it. She ended our communications abruptly and I was kind of left hanging by her and MDLive. The kicker is that I had previously been working with another counselor in my same situation via telehealth with no problems - as long as I lived in the same state where they were licensed.
