As a former patient of Dr. Birklein, I found her knowledgeable but lacking in in integrity and professionalism. I found her hard to relate to and never felt a real connection with her. I felt she was aloof and reluctant to gave her opinion. I always felt money was of more importance than my therapy-but maybe that was me. Anyway-I'm seeing another doctor and I'm in a more solid and happy place as a result of this.

Caring, present, creative, deeply intelligent. I've had more therapists than I care to admit, and Dr. Birklein is the only one who's really helped me. She's not a one size fits all therapist. She's trained in multiple disciplines -- psycho-analysis, body movement, relational -- and looks for what works for you. I can't recommend her highly enough.
