I appreciated Sonia's experience and teaching heart. She explained my son's condition and allowed me to watch therapies. She sent speech homework with us and took extra time to show me how to work with him at home. She is direct and pushed for my son to do his very best. She had great suggestions for how to draw more speech from my son in every day situations.

I would not refer Sonia Ackerman. I thought she was rude, charged a lot, and too opinionated. I would not return to her. She was arrogant. It was a huge disappointment. Dont waste your time with an unprofessional professional. There are good people out there that want your business and have more skills, without a self-righteous edge. I did not trust her skills. And saw no benefit. Save your time by finding someone good. There was no way to select NO stars. I give her Zero stars.
