Stacey is the pelvic floor whisperer. She accomplished in just 3 sessions what U of M couldn’t accomplish in multiple sessions over several months. Stacey’s techniques have allowed me to avoid a major surgery and life change. In addition to her unparalleled expertise, Stacey is a wonderful and very kind-hearted person. I am beyond grateful for Stacey!!

Following a cancer diagnosis in 2021, I had a radical hysterectomy, followed by radiation therapy which left me with what seemed like permanent, irreparable damage to my bladder. My radiation oncologist offered me a referral for Pelvic Floor Rehab early in my recovery, but I was not ready to go through what I thought would be another difficult process. When I was finally ready, my primary care doctor referred me to Stacey Lash and that referral resulted in what I can say has been a life changing experience. From the moment I entered the office of Pelvic Abdominal Rehabilitation, I was treated with respect and compassion; one of Stacey’s many gifts is putting you at ease during what could be an uncomfortable situation. Fortunately, Stacey is also a very gifted clinician; she taught me exercises and educated me on how the bladder works and what I could do to help improve my bladder’s function. As a result, I have improved dramatically.

I just finished physical therapy with Stacey Lash, and I could not be happier with my experience. I started PT six weeks postpartum for diastasis recti, pain and pulling at and around my c-section scar, incontinence, constipation, and pain during intercourse. Stacey spent about 10 weeks working with me on each of my issues and by the end each problem has resolved. I was very impressed with her professionalism as well as her caring demeanor. I felt at ease working with her at each of my visits. I started out feeling discouraged after having an unplanned c-section and not sure where to start to address my issues, and I came out feeling better than I’ve felt in a long time. I highly recommend her!

Stacey was professional, kind, and most importantly she made a big difference in my symptoms. She made me feel comfortable discussing and working on sensitive/intimate issues and I’m so glad I worked with her, and would do so again.

She is amazingly conscientious and serious about making you better. Plus, she has the tools to do so. If you have any pelvic floor issue do yourself a favor and see her.

I started with Stacey two months postpartum and at the very first visit she helped me address basic concerns around pelvic floor health and postpartum care. Throughout our four sessions together Stacey helped me build strength in my core, set me up with proper pelvic floor maintenance and made sure I felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Stacey Lash! After 6 months of serious digestive issues and much pain, several doctors visits, suspected hernia, and no relief I found Stacey. She listened to my complaints, examined me and found the source of my pain. No hernia. The hip flexor muscle was strained, among others. She explains things in detail, takes time to listen, addresses the issues with care. This wonderful skilled physical therapist is like no other I've ever worked with. She seriously changed my life!!! She was able to offer me an immediate appointment when I called. She explained things so well and really took her time to make sure I understood everything. Stacey was amazing!! I went to her with a 3.5 finger diastasis post pregnancy, back pain and a lack of understanding. She was kind, informative and SUCCESFUL! I have stronger abs now than I ever have before and have returned to all my normal activities (yoga, cardio, skiing, etc.) My abs are now only 1 finger separated which is totally normal. I have recommended Stacey to a number of friends and hold her in the highest regard.

I really enjoyed working with Stacey on my pelvic floor issues, diastatis recti, and other lingering issues following the birth of my third child. I was incredibly nervous that I had permanently injured myself and she was kind, reassuring, personable and very effective at providing me with specific coping mechanisms for my pain and an at home workout routine to get myself back to normal. She is specialized such that she really understands the unique issues of the pelvis.
