Dr. Stephanie Ezust, PHD

Stephanie Ezust earned my trust and I deeply appreciate her contributions to my life. Stephanie has been my psychotherapist for more than 7 years in both individual psychotherapy and as a member of a therapy group. She uses dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness meditation and other techniques from her training and experience in our work together. Stephanie also uses direct speaking, with compassion and encouragement and without judgement, and I can do more of the same with others as a result. She has helped me to acknowledge and accept my feelings and fears, recognize joy and boundaries, and deal with anxiety and conflict resolution among other issues. Sweet Bodhi the therapy dog, is there when I need him too. Finally, Stephanie is active in professional associations of her peers and shows that she stays aware of developments in the practice of her profession.

"Nonjudgmental space." Wisdom. Compassion. Au contraire. This therapist is one of the most judgmental people I've ever encountered. I went to her for help with trauma, abandonment, damage. To no avail. A further damaging nightmare. The last yr of 4 yrs in therapy with her at $40,000 ($170 for 50 minutes when I finally escaped-and you're on your own for insurance if you don't have BlueCross) I gave up on any actual help and was just trying to work out my screwed up relationship with her.
