I was interested in going to Dr. McCowin due to his focus on PTSD. Actually, I did receive some help at first and I was of the approach of getting everything on the table to get past it. I don't know that this was wrong, but I do know that I was overexposed in my exposure therapy. After switching to another talk psychologist and not making any progress there either, I tried Dr. Ford McBride in Provo. He uses tapping, a variant of EMDR and it was successful for me! Very happy to be off medication
