I always request female physicians because I feel more comfortable with them. None was available to treat my swollen right knee, so I was referred to Dr. Stewart Smith, Jr. I figured I could always switch if I didn't like him. Well, from the first visit I realized that I had been blessed with a highly professional, extremely knowledgeable doctor--with a very pleasant personality, to boot!
