Susan Herrington, PA-C

I saw Susan Harrington for the first time today. The office was a little backed up so I had to wait but it was worth the wait. it was not an urgent appointment. It was a first time appointment and I think I am going to make this my primary care PC.

I’d like to have her as my primary again.

Susan Herrington has seen me for quite a few years now. always , prompt, knowledgeable, & friendly. She found a lung cancer very early & referred me to an excellent surgeon. She keeps a close eye on me & my health. Sara, her nurse is a great asset to her & the office personnel are always friendly & helpful. Because she has been so good with me, my husband has also started seeing her.

I thought Susan was great. she spent a lot of time, listened and followed up. er staff is also great.

I moved here from Pennsylvania and needed to see a rheumatologist for my arthritis. Everyone wanted a referral, so I needed to get a primary care doctor. I went to see Dr. Herrington for the referral. Having never seen her before, she wanted to get a family history, medical history, etc on me (and rightfully so). After our consultation, she wanted me to have some tests done. My outcome for trying to get a simple referral? I had blood work done (3 times), went to a cardiologist (twice), a dermatologist, had a colonoscopy, a complete physical and got to see the rheumatologist. Sounds like a lot for a referral, right? WRONG!!! I'm extremely happy Dr. Herrington had me do all those things. I appreciate the fact that she wanted to make sure my overall health was good and not just give a simple referral. I have complete faith in Dr. Herrington and any decisions she has concerning my health. Whatever she says she has to do to me or I need to get done, I'll do. She'll be my doctor for life!

First visit went very well. NP Herrington is a very professional. She is very thorough and follows up with all pending items discussed my tailored medical plan. All the referrals were contacted in a timely manner and her nurse, Sara is excellent, sweet, patient and compassionate and super responsive. I will hold a long-standing relationship with this office. The reception employees were very lovely and helpful as well,

Unfortunately Susan Herrington's bed side manner is not good. She's extremely gruff. She is in over her head. My wife and I have found a new general practitioner.

My experience with Susan Herrington is always a positive one.She never hesitates to listen to any concerns I have,always follows up on any tests she orders for me.I find Susan caring and kind, have been seeing her for years and will continue to do so.

First appt in this practice. Susan's demeanour was awful, and for some reason she behaved as if she was very angry with me. I'd never met her or anyone else in the practice before. I've been on thyroid meds for 40 years with little change In my dosage. She said she would be checking this every 3 months with labs. I told her I was concerned about Medicare paying for that many, she said "That's your problem, not mine". Not enough room here to explain what went on that day; no more appts there.
