Ended Badly
Susan helped me salvage my life after sudden death of husband. She was excellent. Then comes husband #2 and that marriage went very badly. Drug and alcohol abuse along with hypochondria and deep anxiety. Susan and husband 2’s therapist fell into his considerable charms and overlooked the sources of our issues (I willingly admitted I had brought my own issues and was seeking help). The two therapists, mine (Susan) and his, ganged up on me in a couples session. So I immediately terminated a 5++ year relationship with Susan. I was hurt and felt deeply betrayed by Susan. I know I’m not perfect but that experience left me dazed, hurt and angry. Beware.
