I was very worried because of my condition. She was blasé. I would have appreciated it if she had said something like, “Wow. You’re scared.” When I asked very pointed questions, I learned I had little to worry about, not before. She may see this all the time; I don’t and it’s my body. Otherwise, she was fine.
