Never ever would I recommend her. Her bedside manner was horrible!! I had a spider bite and the infection was returning. I had tried to get abx before I ended up in the hospital again. I told her I was in the process of moving to KCMO that weekend, and needed antibiotics. My friends, whom all 3 of us are surgical RNs, agreed. She told me she didn't care what I needed to do. She accused me of being anxious, then rolled her eyes at me. I give her zero stars, and will never, ever go to Newton Medical Center Emergency Room again!! I am wanting to fill out a satisfaction survey on my visit and I will keep a copy, give one to NMC, and send a few more to Medicare and the Kansas board of healing arts. I felt she was abusive in her care.
