My husband had ulnar nerve entrapment surgery at the facility in Poughkeepsie. This CRNA presented herself as a physician, not a nurse, and suggested that she would administer a nerve block, on top of general anesthesiology. As the surgery was a 15-20 minute procedure and as the surgeon told him he needed to move his arm/hand after the surgery, he refused the block. Whereupon she tried to talk him into it and when he said "NO" again, she rolled her eyes and was obviously disappointed.
