Worst physician I have ever dealt with- cares only about charging you copays and scheduling visits that are needless. Admitted to testing errors however still charges fees. Will contact you days after a necessary prescription is needed to tell you to make another unnecessary appointment. Stay far away if you care about your own health. 0 stars!!!

Not Genuinely Interested in Your Health
Really terrible experience. There are a couple women in my family who recently found they have hypothyroidism (Hashimotos) and when I looked it up, my mom and I were so surprised because the symptoms read like a collection of random things I had complained about for years. I have a general distrust of medical doctors because I am constantly told the symptoms I have are mental health related, and I explained all this to Swati on my first visit. Second visit I go seeking a referral to an endocrinologist, explain fam history and symptoms, I then say, “I understand if you don’t think it’s hormonal, but what else could my symptoms be?” And she says, “What symptoms?” And I say, “…The ones I just explained to you?” Well, she wrote me a referral to an endocrinologist that wasn’t accepted because she wrote “weight gain” on the referral sheet, not mentioning family history. Well, my sister is trying to get pregnant and can’t and needs hormone treatment and once again I’m angry I was ignored.

An ongoing positive relationship with provider.
For the first time since the pandemic, I've been able to build an ongoing positive relationship with a primary care provider. She listens, takes the necessary time, asks good questions and gets back to you if she needs to. She even has a good sense of humour.

Professional and practical
This is the first time I haven't used an MD/DO, but I am comfortable that Patel understands me personally and is treating me the best way possible. In short, she is practical and professional.

An Excruciatingly Bad First (and Last) Impression!
It became apparent to me WHY Swati Patel is 'still taking new clients', no one wants to stay with her! She is the WORST first impression I have ever had. In fact, I have never had a bad impression of a doctor at first meeting. This APRN is not here for making people well, but clearly for the title and income. She is a medical business person. Her first question to me was, 'What do you want from me?'. She was RUDE, ABRUPT and didn't let me ask my questions by cutting in mid-sentence, even though she Asked me the questions! If you care about your health and want an understanding health care professional, and someone that understands what health means, is warm in their manner, respectful, non-judgemental, DO NOT go to this APRN. It was my Time and Copay down the drain!
