It is a shame that a person with a flawed moral compass would be trusted to give advice. Financially we were charged $130 visit for services that were never rendered but she quotes "this was the paperwork that we signed upon the first meeting". As a physician in private practice myself it is unethical and unlawful to charge someone for not making their appointment. We had an emergency one evening that was unavoidable. To bait us to come back she said she would discount the next visit all the while being passively aggressive about the situation. Aside from the financial aspect her counseling is rudimentary at best. I am sure she gives the same spiel to everyone about the forebrain and hindbrain etc. Our individual couples needs were not met and there was lack of interest that was very obvious. There are very good counselors in Austin such as those at Austin Strong so so save your money, frustration, and a cut and pasted session.

Tamra is an excellent listener! She provided me with practical and actionable advice and I have been able to make so many positive changes from our time together. She coached me through a career change and I am overall happier in my personal and professional life. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is looking to make long-lasting change.

Tamra is such a wonderful therapist -- she really helped me work through my anxiety and understand its root cause, then figured out what coping techniques worked best for me. It made it a lot easier for me to get through (and excel) in my day-to-day in a high pressure job, and also make sure that stress and anxiety didn't bleed into my relationships with my family and significant other.
