Great staff & Nurse Practitioner! Would ask to see again if needed!!

Tanya is working in the wrong field. I have never experienced someone in the medical field who I felt treated so poorly by. Absolutely no compassion or respect for her patients. She is rude and is very much not caring at all for the patient. I was shocked at how belittling she was and how quickly she brushed me off without truly listening. She does not know how to talk to patients, very bad patient care. I was very disappointed in my visit with her. It’s sad that people like this are in a position that people go to for help and care. She clearly doesn’t know how to do either of those things. Would never go back. I really hope she starts treating people better, I feel bad for her patients.

NP Takatani-Apo (not Dr.) was condescending, irritable, and argumentative. I did not feel heard or understood. She wouldnt let me finish my questions and kept cutting me off to answer what I wasnt asking. Many years at MMG and she is the only person there to treat me like Im an idiot. I cant believe she works there. Health professionals are supposed to educate and listen to their patients. She does neither. Patients come to the doctors office when they are in pain and she seems to have no empathy or patience for them. I will be avoiding her as well.

She was rude and condescending. She "softened" a little after I became upset gave her a little attitude back. Will be avoiding seeing her in the future.

If you are looking for an empathetic practitioner, look elsewhere. She disregarded a very basic tenet of cultural competency training, active and empathetic listening skills. She was very rude and condescending. Seek care elsewhere for your own peace of mind

Dr. Takitani App is personable, thorough and compassionate. I have received wonderful care from her, from Day 1. It was hard to switch to her after having previously had a wonderful physician who retired. But Dr. T-A and her staff made the transition smooth and comfortable. She was open to any questions I had, and I feel very confident in her care and expertise.
