She was the court’s app counselor who the ex already knew. Adviced the judge for kids to live with him, after only one session with me and the kids .. My ex medicated my youngest daughter with PM NitQuil that morning and when I picked her up she was drugged, she kept on saying she just wanted to sleep… So throughout that one session, she determine my children’s had no positive interaction with me, specially my younger daughter who was 6 at the time.. My daughter said she had not eaten that morning but her dad gave her the purple PM stuff. Their dad worked at the same court we had our trial. Dad would work long hours and would leave my children at the care of the paternal grandparents. I was a stay home mom at the time. We discovered my oldest son was being severely physically and s@&ual ab&se by the grandfather while Teresa had my children under her care & for the next couple years until the grandfather died of Altz and Dementia 61 years old & and felt safe to talk.

2016 to 2023. My daughter was a patient of Mrs Burbank. Unfortunately, because of Mrs Burbanks unprofessional and un ethical decisions my daughter suffered severe abuse of her father and Mrs Burbank. She should have her license revoked. She has previous write ups with the State of Texas. Look at her other negative reviews. They are all similar. The abuse my child suffered due to this counselor can not be erased or undone. That is why I implore you to not use Mrs Burbank.

She has been a phenomenal counselor. Currently going through a custody issue that has my son very upset. She is able to get him to engage and speak with her; he comes out of her office in such good spirits which gives me peace of mind. She has given me much needed tools on how to handle the difficult challenges that have arose and life changing suggestions that when implemented immediately improved my sons mood and behaviors. She takes time to listen to concerns, give advice and genuinely cares about the health and happiness of my child. So very grateful and blessed to have crossed paths.

I took my children to her.. we were in a high conflict custody situation. I was impressed with how unbiased she remained even with me being the parent she always saw, I saw her heart for my children where she became THEIR advocate and would advise me in how to handle diff things as their mom.. My children came to like and trust her and so did I. There are so many people in this industry who are crooked when they ought to be looking out #1 for the kids, they’re bought out and biased.. so I have major trust issues. It’s hard for anyone to discern thru such a mess, especially when even the children are being used to project untrue things about the other parent. But I could see her genuine care for my kids and what was best for them.. I very much appreciate that in the almost year that I took them to her. I wish so badly they still had someone like her. She’s the perfect balance of what you want for your child..very professional, yet nurturing, understanding, advocating..

My children loved ms Burbank. My oldest daughter was greatly helped by her. She helped her learn boundaries, trust herself and gain a sense of strength in this messy world of divorce and abuse. I have zero regrets about allowing Ms Burbank to become part of my childrens journey.

She is amazing! She always made us feel like family, and she truly cares.

My kids love Theresa, she is helping them cope with emotional stress.
