Dr. Marino has been my eye doctor since 2021
Dr. Marino has been a great Doctor very kind and dedicated every year when I go back for my check up. Takes his time with me and hears all my questions and concerns. I recommended him to my sister and she is very happy with him too.

,,,simply the WORST !!!
I arrived at my appointment on 1/31/2024 as scheduled, met with Thomas Marino shortly thereafter. During the encounter (screening/exam), he (Dr. Marino) was rude, impolite, and deliberately offensive. ,,,no eye contact, no cordiality, and after about 5 minutes into the exam, he decided to (literally) snatch a tissue from a tissue box and shove it into my direction, implying that I remove the gum from my mouth. After I refused to do so, I questioned his actions; startled at my response, (I'm guessing), he came up with some bogus answer about his inappropriate gesture. He (Dr. Marino) then attempted to proceed with the exam, questioning me with such a demeanor as though he was a serf, and I, a proletariat.Exhausted by his antics, I got up and walked out of the exam, cautioning him to NOT bill my insurance, because he did absolutely nothing for me. At this point, he offered me a referral, which I refused. I notified my insurance provider, and will dispute his bill.

SHOULD NOT BE A DOCTOR AT ALL. I decided to give him a try today since there are mixed reviews about him and he seemed really nice when I booked an appt with him over the phone. In person he is absolutely the rudest man I have ever met in my life. I took my 11 year old daughter to see him since she failed her vision test in school. He started off really nice, but towards the end I was berated by him when I was shocked of her diagnosis. He also pretty much kicked us out when my daughter did not like any of the glasses he offered. I was apalled by his treatment but instead of stooping to his level, I simply walked away and showed my daughter why it is important to be kind to others or else she will end up a miserable person like him.

Dr Marino had been my eye doctor for about eight years and never once thought about switching. Every interaction is great and he is a great doctor. The guy remembers details from a conversation we had the year before. It's obvious he cares about his practice and patients.
