Tina D'Amico, LCSW

Tina D’Amico uses a scheduling service outside her office that gave me misinformation in regard to my appointment. I hired a sitter, husband took off work only to find her office closed. In addition, I was charged as a no show of $80. I understand we all have to make a living however, in this situation it appears she is only interested in the $$ and not her patients.

She is incredibly insightful and very creative at solving relationship issues

I can't say enough about how much Tina has helped us. I started off seeing her on my own due to marital challenges and she has since helped my whole family. She is an excellent listener and gives great guidance. She offers pertinent reading materials and "homework" that really hits home. I have tried a few other counselors over the years and can say without a doubt that the love (tough when it needs to be) and compassion that Tina exudes is a rare find. She has absolutely bettered our lives.

I went to Tina as I was having problems with my daughter who was cutting off communication with me for a myriad of reasons, according to her. Tina was so welcoming and I immediately felt at ease with her. She counseled me about accepting that my daughter was going through her own issues and do as she asked. I am happy to say that we now have a much better relationship with understanding and acceptance on both sides. Tina is a marvel. I highly recommend her. She changed my life.

I went to Tina recently with a problem that seemed beyond solution -- resentment towards my sister that I could not speak to her about. I even developed laryngitis 2 days before my first appointment with Tina. After 5 sessions with Tina I was able to bring up the matter with my sister, and got a positive and loving response. I am awed by Tina's excellence as a therapist. An earlier issue that I went to Tina about resolved by itself ... but who knows?!
