I had surgery at St. Luke's downtown. It took 2 1/2 hours for him to show up. The nurse called him twice to come to pre-op. I was in extreme pain from a kidney stone. The surgeon had told me not to take my pain meds as the anesthesiologist would be in to see me within 30 or 40 minutes of arrival. He was not with other patients. The nurse heard him talking and chatting to other employees out side my cubical. She had to go and verbally confront him to get him to start the meds.
