Dr. Toni Racoma, OD

I saw Dr. Racoma at Vista Vision for a new patient eye exam and purchased a set of progressive lenses. I had problems with distance vision using the new lenses that have not improved after a few weeks of wearing them. After visiting the office to double check the lenses and fit of the glasses they verified that the lenses were built correctly and no amount of adjustments would fix the problem. The optician told me and I agreed that it's likely a problem with the prescription I received. Unfortunately I was told that for the doctor to double check their work I would have to pay full cash price for second $169 office visit. Additionally, if a prescription change is necessary I would have to pay the full, $600 price for a second set of lenses.If you choose Dr. Racoma be aware that you will have to pay double to fix any issues with your prescription. This is not been my experience with other providers in over 50 years of wearing glasses. Find a doctor who stands behind their work.

Amazing! I cannot say enough about Dr. Racoma and her staff! They are very professional, friendly, caring, helpful, efficient, thorough, also very knowledgeable and informative. From the moment you walk into her office you feel at ease and not a nerve wrecking hospital setting. The equipment was very advanced. I had a very thorough eye exam and Dr. Racoma explained everything she was doing and answered all my questions. Here you are not just another number, but treated like a human being. I feel confident with my glaucoma eye journey with Dr. Racoma. I highly recommend Vista Vision Premier Family Eyecare.

Very friendly office staff and doctor. Extremely thorough exam and clear explanations of all tests and recommendations. Have ordered new glasses from the nice selection of frames, and will hopefully have more five star ratings once they're in.

She was exceptionally thorough, professional, and extremely attentive. Dr. Racoma explained every exam and results. The office is beautiful, super clean, and very well organized. I love the staff as well. I am probably not doing them the justice they deserve…if you are looking for an amazing Optometry office-GO HERE! TY!

Dr. Racoma is the absolute best ! She uses high tech equipment and this, combined with her knowledge, provides the best care possible. She discovered some problems that I seriously doubt would have been discovered by others in her field. Me and my eyes are lucky to have found her. She is going to save my vision.

By far the best service I have received in an optometrists’ office. Dr. Racoma has a state of the art office and provides an experience that is unparalleled. I have a complicated history with quite a few unusual eye problems. When I informed Dr Racoma about my history, she assured me that she was good at taking care of complicated issues. She was quite right about that and I wholeheartedly agree with another reviewer who said “ I only wish I had found her sooner”. Thank you to Dr Racoma for helping me see better than I have in years and for providing such a pleasant experience.

Dr. Racoma is terrific. She is skillful in her quest to address needs of the patient and by far the best optometrist we have encountered. The glasses prescribed for my husband are outstanding. He hasn't had vision this clear in years. Just sorry we didn't find her sooner. She is an excellent practitioner.

Hands down best eye care I have received in San Antonio. Dr. Toni Racoma has a beautiful, well run office. Her staff, Ashley, was super helpful in checking my insurance coverage and following up. Booking an eye appointment was also very easy. Dr. Racoma was very thorough during my eye examination and did an excellent job explaining each test as well as answering all my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Racoma if you are looking for a Family Eye Care doctor.

Most comprehensive and complete eye exam I've ever had! Dr. Racoma spends time with you for one on one personal attention. She is careful to explain everything that she's doing and what the results mean. I highly recommend her.
