Dr. Tony Fletcher, PSY.D

Dr. Fletcher was unprofessional from the start. He had double booked himself and tried to tell me that I had the wrong date until I pulled up the messages where he confirmed the appointment just two days prior. He told me that I didn't 'look anxious,' which as a healthcare professional myself, I know is so inappropriate. He told me that I couldn't be autistic because if I was the traffic sounds would be unbearable, we were on the 14th floor. He paused while we were transitioning to a different portion of the exam to say he didn't think I was going to get a diagnosis, and I could leave if I wanted to, without having completed the assessment. I had a discussion with one of the partners in the practice and a follow up call with Dr. Fletcher and he was not at all receptive to hearing my experience and was defensive and dismissive. I wouldn't tell my worst enemy to seek any sort of mental health care from this person.

Dr Fletcher is unprofessional. He took a 5+ min phone call during the evaluation while I was being tested. The writeup included lots of mistakes, referring to me as "he", and including a lot of information that was inaccurate. He put stuff in the evaluation that was in direct opposition of what I told him about myself. I would never show my psych the results because it's not accurate of what my problems are. I saw him 3 times. The first time was to discuss myself and for him to talk about his background. At one point he talked about dbt and Marsha Linehan and made a derogatory comment about people with borderline personality disorder. What a great thing to hear from a medical "professional". Lo and behold at the end of the assessment he diagnosed me with bpd. I still don't trust his assessment so I definitely do not recommend him, especially for how much a psych eval costs - go elsewhere if you want more compassion and to be treated with respect.

He delivered an assessment riddled with factual accuracies and diagnoses outside the scope of the assignment.
