Dismissive?
A reviewer said "dismissive". Maybe steering the conversation. A doctor listens and evaluates. She does not follow the patient but she leads the patient, away from the problem and toward the solution.

Extremely condescending and flippant.
Maybe she was having a bad day, but her demeanor made me feel terribly uncomfortable.

I have been seeing Dr. Hackett for approximately six months, during which time she has helped me tremendously with acupuncture. She is very professional and demonstrates an acute knowledge of her subjects. I feel confident that her practice has helped me with many of my problem areas. I highly recommend her.

I can't say enough good things about Tracy....she has helped me tremendously over the last 4 years with everything from infertility, depression, anxiety, broken bones, back pain....Her approach and demeanor are welcoming, insightful and not pushy at all. Her flexibility with her schedule also was a huge help to me.

I always thought of acupuncture as a "yeah, yeah, okay, sure" touchy feely "alternative technique." And then I became a client of Tracy Hackett, and because of her expertise, warm professionalism, and intuitive compassion for her patients, I am now a true disciple of acupuncture's benefits. Tracy treats her patients as individuals, always listening, healing, and, if necessary, comforting. She is a wonderful and talented provider ... the best!

Dr. Hackett is one of the few health care providers that are truly gifted. She's helped with / worked through conditions such as infertility, arthritis, chronic sinus infections and stress. And all the while, listening and responding to my concerns. I'll note that I'm hugely afraid of needles, but Dr Hackett worked through that too. i give her my absolute highest recommendation.
