Tracy Scanlon, LPC

Extremely unprofessional, quit on clients in the middle of the second session, without providing any explanation. Unbelievable behavior for someone who is supposed to provide professional help. (I would even give zero stars if that rating was available.)

I have had appointments on the phone, video, and In person. The office is very comfortable and private. Dr.Scanlon allows me to choose whichever appt. I prefer. Dr. Scanlon has been extremely helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about critical incidents and PTSD. I mention her name in my profession and her reputation is highly regarded. I could not be where I am today without her help. She can relate to our topics of discussion due to her experience and expertise.

Tracy listens to you and what is happening in your life. She will reflect on the issues and help you to figure out how to approach a situation and give you suggestions to make your life easier. Tracy helps her clients to take care of themselves because you can't help another if you're not well. I recommend her highly for any mental health issues you may have. Tracy is on time and I personally set my alarm for 5 Minutes before our appointment is going to end. I do this because I know it's time to wrap it up and most likely she has another important person waiting to speak with her as well!

Don’t waste your time. Extremely unprofessional. Facetime appointments available (no portal, she will ask you to FT her at your appointment time because it triggers her to stop the appointment she’s currently on) but she won’t remember anything from your prior appointments. Drank wine on the FT appointment. Never followed up as promised to reschedule next appointments. Repeatedly asked for duplicate information for insurance claims. Very smart and intellectual person, but not a great therapist.
