I had seen another surgeon for my back/hip/leg pain. I needed spinal fusion for L4 & 5. Recovery time of 6 months and start "weaning" off pain meds in about 3. I decided not to follow up. It got to the point I couldn't stand or walk for more than 5 minutes. My husbands co-worker had major back surgery and did great. I asked him who performed the surgery, Dr. Rhee and Tracy. He loved them and thought I should at least talk to them. I did........THANK GOD!!!! I had gotten so used to the pain that I didn't realize how bad it had become. Dr. Rhee and Tracy explained the procedure for spinal fusion, expected outcome and recovery. The day of surgery I was sitting and walking. The next morning I was going up stairs and was released. My back was tired but there was NO pain. Took a couple pain pills a day for the 1st week. It has been 3 months and I feel great. I totally recommend them!!!

This gal is so personable and kind, listens with concern and so glad I had her with each appointment before surgery, in hospital after surgery and my follow up visits. I felt like she became a dear friend. God Bless her for her compassion.

When I first met Tracy, she walked in the door with a huge smile and said, "In case you weren't 100% aware, your back is really a mess." I laughed and told her that I knew it was. She went over my x-rays and explained how my back had worsened. We talked through the different surgical options. She was so thorough and I knew that I could trust what she was saying. When I walked in the door, I was a severely obese woman. She had to have a tough conversation with me about how much weight I would need to lose for them to attempt the surgery. She did it with such grace and such compassion. With every pound lost, I thought of her encouragement and belief in me. My surgery was very complicated because of the condition of my spine. This resulted in a longer hospital stay and a longer recovery than I would have liked but Tracy was there through all of it. Explaining every next step. Reassuring me that I was doing the right things. They are an incredible team with incredible heart.

I was referred to Advanced Spine and Brain Center by my PCP in September 2020. Tracy seen me for my first visit. She is very friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. Tracy took the time to explain to me and my husband what my diagnosis was and what needed to be done to fix it. Before we left she made sure that she had answered all of our questions and told us to call the office if we should have any other questions. I had to have surgery, Tracy explained that she would be in surgery with me (this was a great comfort to me). After my surgery, Tracy did a wonderful job making sure that all my orders where signed so I did not have to spend all day waiting for discharge. She also made sure again that all my questions where answered before I left. She and Dr. Rhee are a great team!!! I would highly recommend Tracy to my family and friends.

I was experiencing severe leg pain caused by pinched nerves in my lower back. After months of physical therapy and spinal injections, I was unable to find relief. We scheduled an consultation with Tracy to discuss my options, if any. Tracy displayed a very comforting presence at which time she convinced me that I was a very good candidate to take part in an OLIF procedure that she and Dr. Rhee perform. I was skeptical upon arrival, but Tracy did an excellent job to re assure me that I would be happy with the results. I am now a little more that 3 weeks out from the surgery and am thrilled to be pain free!! Thank you Tracy! (and Dr. Rhee)

Tracy is AMAZING! She and her staff go the extra mile to ensure that patients have an excellent visit. Staff went the extra mile for me when my insurance balked at paying for the procedures needed during my surgery. The ladies went to bat for me and I am forever grateful! Tracy comprehensively explained the manner of my spinal surgery, and she has kept me updated on every issue at my post operative follow up appointments. Where do I begin? Tracy is the most knowledgeable, kindest and positive Nurse Practitioner I've ever met. She is confident in her actions, patient with the patients' families and personable in recommendation and advice as if she gives it to a family member. She brings optimism, provides best in-class care and support for her patients and ensures that the necessary attention is given right away. Tracy treated and cared for my husband post craniotomy and emergency neurosurgery. She contributed to my decision when selecting best suited rehabilitation center for my husband's severe traumatic brain injury. Furthermore, she participated in my husband's cranioplasty - skull reconstruction surgery, which resulted in immediate post op progress. I cannot thank her enough for everything that has done for my family and I thank God for her talents and the work that she continues to do every day.

I have had multiple surgeries throughout my lifetime. It has been very rare that I have found a Nurse Practitioner as caring, thoughtful and competent as Tracy. She and Dr. Rhee exceeded my expectations with their attention to detail throughout my entire surgical process and recovery. I highly recommend this team!

Tracy Wheeler is a true professional! She is very knowledgeable and provides information to assist Dr Rhee’s patients in making surgical decisions. Tracy made me feel comfortable and important as a patient. She has a welcoming personality and I’ve never seen her without a smile. Tracy assists in the surgeries and is part of the team. She was with me on all of the follow ups and made sure I was progressing well. I will always remember her caring attitude. Her encouragement helped me get through the few rough spots. I will miss Tracy and the whole staff. I may have to take Christmas cookies just so I can see them. If I should ever need other spinal surgery, I will not hesitate to seek their services.

Only good things to say about Tracy, Good person, great Nurse Practitioner. She went above and beyond. She answered all my question, answered all of my wife questions. She returned are calls the same day. You can tell she cares about what she is doing. Very knowledgeable, respectable person. Like I said " Only good things to say about Tracy" The hole staff, everyone up there with Dr. Rhee & Tracy are great.

What a pleasant surprise Tracy is. After selecting Dr. Rhee for back surgery I quickly found out she is Dr. Rhee's right hand man (oops gal). What a pair they make. I soon called them the Dynamic Duo. She carefully explained the post op procedures and limitations. Kind and compassion above and beyond. She is now my new sweetheart
