Dismissive
Telehealth
When I was sharing my symptoms, I could tell she wasn’t listening because she would ask questions about the symptoms I had already shared, making me repeat myself over and over again. She came off as extremely dismissive and concluded that difficultly starting tasks isn’t a symptom of adhd.

I paid $200 for an Autism Assessment, expecting a thorough evaluation. Instead, after sharing some struggles, she asked just two questions before concluding I didn't have Autism, suggesting an identity disorder instead based on just 10 minutes of conversation. When I asked to continue the assessment I had paid for, she refused, stating that she typically determines if someone has Autism solely based on their reported symptoms. The final straw was when she dismissed my questions about masking, claiming people with Autism don't do that, and suggesting I was fine because I could keep a job. It became clear she lacked a deep understanding of Autism, making the assessment feel inadequate and unprofessional.
