Vera Ivanova, NP

Vera Ivanova was the cardiologist on call at York Hopsital when my grandmother was there for a heart attack. Ms. Ivanova had a very aggressive attitude, constantly interrupting and talking over my grandmother while she was trying to answer Ms. Ivanova's questions. Ms. Ivanova bullied and belittled her, made frequent sarcastic and insulting comments about her other doctors ('he's wrong,' 'he doesn't know what he's talking about,' etc), and asked her questions in a manner that felt more like a police interrogation.

Very Satisfied. She is personable and listens intently to your concerns. She takes the time to explain /educate what the potential issues / concerns are and what options / treatments are available. I have NEVER had medical provider listen, I mean really listen to what my concerns were. It is obvious she loves what she does and is a true medical professional. I feel extremely lucky to have her as my health care partner.

Vera is amazing. She takes the time to listen and discuss everything thoroughly. She’s very kind and knowledgeable. She encourages you to be involved in your treatment by sharing with you all your options, answering all your questions, and asking what you’d like to do. I’m grateful to have found such a wonderful doctor. Her office staff is wonderful too.
