Veronica Estrada, FNP

I recently saw Veronica Estrada at Providence for a gynecology appointment. No woman wants to go to these appointments! But Veronica made this appointment a good experience! She was friendly, attentive, considerate and knowledgeable. I am definitely going to see Veronica every time I have to get a check up. So glad I met this Nurse Practitioner.

I have Medi-Cal & could not easily find a new obgyn after a follow up appointment from an ER visit. The obgyn they sent me to was not helpful so I attempted to search a new dr. The front office staff was kind & notified me that unfortunately the new obgyn was not seeing anyone until months out, so she booked me an appointment with an NP. I suffer from heavy periods & was desperate because I needed help fast. My visit with the NP was insufferable, she would reject my personal experiences & would rudely interrupt and attempt to diagnose me. At one point she repeatedly claimed I had PCOS with no proof! (No tests were done yet) She even shamed me for not being healthy, even if I told her how difficult it is to be active w heavy menstruation. She then checked me and confidently claimed 'it looks like you are almost done menstruating'. When in fact I was not! Even the blood test she sent me to take did not confirm PCOS! I have never felt so disgusted about a healthcare visit in all my years.

Veronica Estrada is 100% genuine, caring and present. She is both intelligent and has a high level of experience. She explains everything she is doing or going to do and no question is too silly to ask. Her energy is calm, observant and thoughtful. I would recommend her to any friend or family member.
