Dr. Vincent Piraino, OD

I visited Dr. Piraino about a month ago here in Myrtle Beach, S.C. during what could have been a medical emergency. I was having symptoms of a retinal detachment. After calling my regular optometrist and referred to several others, all of whom put me off for a week or more, Dr. Paraino immediately fit me in at the back end of his day. His level of professionalism and genuine concern was paramount. I couldn't have felt better given the seriousness of my potential condition. He referred me to an Opthimologist for an immediate medical exam, as his concern was elevated. He literally called the next morning that an appointment was indeed made and presented a personal number to call if symptoms digressed until I was seen. He then followed up after my appointment to review the exam (Making sure I understood what was discussed I had an anomaly in that fluid was released from my retina causing huge 'floaters' blurred vision, spots and flashes of light.) Thank you for sincerely caring!

I took my kids W/Piraino and loved how he took his time with both of my Chilidren and explain any questions I had I have been seeing Optometry forever and this is the first DR That I really Really would recommed i will be see him soon.

Spent plenty of time and answered all of my questions. Very knowledgeable and personable.
