like Dr. Fretland, not impressed with office staff
Dr. Fretland took time with me to review the different eye surgeries before my cataract surgery. My surgery went great. The issue came at my post op appointment. I was left in a room for 2 hours without anyone coming to talk to me. They may have forgotten me. When I opened my door, they finally came in. The only excuse they had for my wait was 'there is nothing we could do'. I know places are busy, but the staff need to come in and check on the patient and let them know what is going on and apologize for the wait. Common courtesy. Still deciding if I will be going back to that office.

Annual exam
Dr. Fretland is probably the best Eye doctor I have ever visited. She is very thorough and caring about me as a patient. She takes the time to do a good job. She is the only I will trust with my eyesight from now on.

Thorough
The paperwork was minimal and so was the wait. Shelby did a great job examining my eyes. She was very thorough and answered all my questions. The doctor was also very thorough and told me the truth about my condition. I need to lower my A1c asap.Dawn did a retina scan and I'm set up for followup appointments. Steve worked with me and helped me get my new glasses ordered. All in all, an excellent experience. Thank you Ocala Eye!
