Thank you Dr. Bethea for completing my evaluation and giving me the tools I need to be ready for my surgery. Your report was very helpful to me and it gave me some great ideas of things to do as I change my lifestyle. It was wonderful to work with you.

She is understanding and kind, showing me how to be kind to myself. My experience with her has been great. I would recommend her to anyone.

I needed a consultation professional to professional and her wisdom and experience was more than expected.

Patients should know before they work with Dr. Bethea that she may threaten to both withhold their medical evaluations, and to charge them the full cost of her services, if the insurance claims process is working too slowly for her liking. She may call the patient after the work is complete and demand they harass their insurance provider on her behalf. She may also insult her patient while she attempts to force them to comply with her demands. She expects her patients to understand the medical billing process, so if you don't know how medical claims are submitted or worked, well, that's too bad. Cannot recommend this doctor who chooses conflict and harassment over patience and compassion in her work.

Dr. Bethea has been everything that I hope for in a therapist. She is intuitive, intelligent and warm and really hears what I say. I felt like she had me figured out after our first session and she has since gently guided me to make changes to better my life. I always leave her office feeling like someone has my back in this journey and I look forward to my appointments with her.

I find Dr Bethea to be very understanding and intuitive.

Dr. Bethea is not a person who is warm and genuine; but rather, she is intrusive and off putting. My 30 minute encounter with her left me feeling violated and upset. I could not feel confident or trust her enough to even allow her the benefit of knowing more about me than my name. I would not recommend her for psychological evaluation and definitely not for a therapy session.
