In July 2022 I went to Dr. Tullo for my two yr. exam based upon the reviews I’ve read about his services. The doctor I had been going for years had retired. I chose Dr. Tullo based upon the reviews I’d read. My exam was very quick, did not do some of the tests my doctor normally do. I think the entire exam was 45 mins. Or less. I thought it was odd, but didn’t questioned it because my previous doctor was known to be very meticulous and made sure every test was done. Most times my exam would be about an hour or more. Upon getting my new glasses with the new prescription, I noticed that it was not what I was used to. My perceptions were way off which caused me to fall. I had difficulty adjusting to the new prescription. I called the optician who had filled my prescription. I was told that the prescription was a big change, no way near what I had in the past. I then call Dr. Tully’s office to explain my difficulties with the new prescription and that I had fallen. When I went to see Dr. Tullo he gave me a more detailed exam and told me that these new prescription was closer to what I had on. Dr. Tullo did not acknowledged the wrong prescription and had the nerve to charge me $200 for the exam. I never got an apology. Not to mention the expense of the new glasses. I would have made a fuss, but that office was very small and there were people in the waiting room. After arriving home, I wrote him a letter asking for the refund of the $200 and some acknowledgment or taking responsibility for what he did. I never heard from him! I am 75 yrs. Old, on a limited income. This doctor is not an honest person, nor does he take responsibilities for his actions and the consequences it caused. I will never go back to his services. I am writing this so no one else will experience what I went through.

Dr. Tullo is skilled beyond any optometrist I’ve encountered. His eye exam process includes testing and assessments not used by most in his field. Dr. Tullo’s superlative handling of complex eyeglass prescription needs resulted in the best vision correction I’ve had.

I was a new patient of Dr Tullo's. I have a significant astigmatism and have been told I have told I have the beginnings of cataracts. I went for distance, reading, and computer glasses. Dr Tullo & staff performed a very thorough eye exam, took time, and was very supportive of my taking supplements (lutein and bilberry). New distance Rx relieved my eye strain greatly. My long time Optometrist had retired and an interim Opthamologist had really screwed up my Rx. The only issue I had was that my local optician questioned the Rx for computer glasses; I really wanted to be able to do presentations, where I look down at a laptop screen and then look out an audience within 20 ft. Dr. Tullo's office staff was very helpful in clarifying the Rx. As a result I opted out of that Rx and just use the reading classes for the computer. I really do not like progressives. I asked Dr Tullo if he wanted a tough patient, so I referred my wife to him.

I have visited Dr. Tullo for many years for my glasses. I have a medical condition that can impact optical nerves and he always took extra time to make sure that nothing is overlooked. Due to circumstances I had to use a different optometrist last year and found that this provider used a standard distance for computer glasses, while Dr. Tullo measured the real distance between my eyes and a screen. That has made my last pair of glasses uncomfortable to use. I will return to Dr. Tullo!
