I've been a patient for 7 years. Dr. Cai is much more knowledgeable and thorough than other optometrists. She is professional, always courteous and listens with careful attention. Other members of my family are also patients and are willing to travel to see her for routine eye exams as well as medical vivion issues.

When I asked a question, she talked at the same time as me. She moved through the vision comparison questions very quickly, before I could focus my eyes. When I asked if she could slow down, she said that the eye muscle should not work at all when using glasses so she wanted me to give her quick answers.

I went in for an eye exam & new prescription. My current contacts were discontinued, so Dr. Cai suggested a similar brand. But when I tried them on they were blurry. I told her I couldn't see in them and asked to try another brand. Her response: I had to make another appointment to try another brand AND pay an additional $92 (I had already paid $42 for the exam). When I told her I didn't understand - she could just walk down the hall and get a different brand - she told me my time was up.
