Upset and Mad
My son had a scheduled appointment with his pediatrician however, he was not available. I had to see Yurima Verdecia for his yearly checkup. Unfortunately, it was not pleasant at all. The first question she asked me was who my child's dr. was. Why are you asking me that? Her response was its busy today. I said to her we are a few weeks before school start and it should be busy. After his checkup, she stated that he was thriving. So, I received my monthly statement, and she coded the visit as an office visit along with Emotional and Behavioral which was NEVER discussed nor were questions asked. I reached out to the office to express how upset I was about the situation. My first impression of her was not good and i feel that it was racially charged. I will not allow my child to be in her presence again! Question? who else have she coded in this manner? I wish I could give no stars!
