Yvonne Pierce, WHNP

Yvonne Pierce is outstanding, definitely rates 5 stars. I recommended her to my daughter, and she absolutely loves her, spends a good deal of time, listens and explains things in a very clear manner.

Unfortunately had a bad experience with Yvonne. I did not feel as if she was listening to my concerns, and when I asked further questions about her direction I received unprofessional statements.

Condescending with zero tolerance for menopausal women. Find someone else if you are no longer of child-bearing age. She treated me so badly that I ended up crying. She then wrote in my chart that I was depressed and added depression as a diagnosis. She is not qualified to diagnose mental health conditions. I’m had to get my PCP to remove the misdiagnosis from my chart. Seriously, stay away from Ms. Pierce.

Yvonne Pierce was kind, gentle, and professional. She explained each step until completion of my exam. She listened to my concerns and answered my questions. We need more providers like her that actually spends the time understanding the patient’s needs and concerns. Will refer my family and friends to her.

Yvonne is very thorough and patient-centered. I would (and have) recommended her to everyone.

Had the worst prenatal visit at Old Town VHC with Yvonne since I began going. Yvonne is was extremely condescending toward me. She felt the need to tell me at 31 weeks when my baby is still very much moving around and not in ANY set position, that I may have to have schedule an appointment to have an inversion done at 36 weeks. So unnecessary and potentially anxiety-inducing for a FTM mom like myself. She mentioned TWICE that I should schedule my prenatal appointment with the physicians — not sure why she mentioned this — I told her I was aware of that but zero doctors were available to see me that day. She also questioned the amount of appointments I had scheduled and the time in between them — things that she should not be concerned with because I am an adult and therefore have the autonomy to make my own healthcare-related decisions. It was obvious that she didn’t have time review my records prior as she proceeded to ask questions that the MA already went over with me.
