I normally do not comment about therapists, but my first session with her was the most uncomfortable and horrible experience of my life. I had encountered an issue with the billing department with confusion of how much an initial evaluation would cost. In my prior experiences, they had been free and short. While I understand the separation between billing costs and providers, she was extremely short and unwilling to help me at all with regards to where I should go for help. She seemed condescending, un-empathetic, and is the last person I'd think of to actually go for help, let alone therapy.

I did not feel validated during my appointment, rather the source of blame for a lot of situations. I did not feel nurtured and sessions, I felt like it was hostile this cause me to avoid sessions, which I received warnings for (my appointments being cut short). I understood the implications, but the negative energy made me not even want to speak with this therapist. Well, the therapist should have been constructive and asked me why I was missing appointments, and should have investigated that. It turns out I have ADHD, which I have now realize through diagnosis. The way this therapist treated me with being late, had a huge impact on my mental health, as my appointments were getting cut short as a result, and this was extremely unjust to me.

After working with her for half a year, I find her to be very cold and lack tact. When I brought up my concerns over her rather impersonal, stone cold demeanor, she became defensive and claimed she had strong boundaries and was assertive. Over time. I lost trust in her knowing that in moments of fragility and distress, her response would be very brief and business-like.

I spent two session with her. Terrible listener, she was playing with the pen in her mouth the entire time, she looked bored, barely said a word to me. She seemed very disinterested in anything I said. I was going through terrible anxiety, and visiting her only made it worse for me.
