Biography: I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a graduate of Cambridge College, where I earned my M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy in 2002. Since then, I've worked in a variety of clinical settings, including private practice providing individual and couples counseling, as well as serving as a crisis clinician in the Emergency Department. I have also worked as an adjunct faculty member at both community colleges and four-year institutions in the Boston area, teaching undergraduate courses in Psychology and Human Services, including Crisis Intervention, Counseling Practice and Policy, Research Methods, and Psychology of Personality. I generally become deeply vested in the mental health and overall well-being of my clients. My therapeutic approach is solution-focused, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to open up, share their thoughts and feelings, and work collaboratively toward practical, meaningful goals. I recognize that discussing intimacywhether emotional or physicalcan be difficult, and I offer a respectful, nonjudgmental environment where those conversations can take place comfortably and at your pace. I enjoy working with individuals from all walks of life, including those navigating men's health concerns, relationship issues, LGBTQ+ identity and sexuality, porn addiction, immigration stressors, and cancer-related emotional health. My goal is to provide a safe, affirming, and empowering environment where clients feel supported, challenged, and understood. In addition to English, I am fluent in Arabic (Lebanese dialect), which allows me to offer culturally responsive care to a diverse range of clients.

Biography: Thank you for checking my profile. Congratulations for getting this far in reaching out to a stranger for help. It's never easy. I know from personal experience. I have been a Social Worker for 34 years. I love being able to help people make the changes they know they need to make. If you don't know what changes you need to make, that may be where we start. We all have a part of ourselves that knows what we need to do or how we need to be. Part of a therapist's job is to help you find that part of yourself and give it a voice. I have seen and heard it all in my time as a therapist. So, have no concerns about sharing information with me, whenever you feel comfortable. We will start from where you are. You are in the perfect place to take the next step on your way to a better life. Remember that the perfect human does not exist. We are all working to make progress, not to become perfect. I have worked in outpatient and inpatient mental health centers for years. I recently retired from teaching Social Work and Healthcare Management at a local 4-year college. I have also worked in Hospice and Home Health for many years. The type of sessions we have will be based on your needs. Every client is different. I look forward to hearing from you.

Biography: I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to make progress towards your goals. I encourage you to be honest with me about your needs so that your experience is productive and beneficial to your well-being. You can trust that I will be honest with you in order to build a strong therapeutic relationship. I have an eclectic style, drawing on a variety of strength based techniques such as CBT, emotional regulation, and relaxation techniques. I have a warm, engaging style and my approach is collaborative, practical and solution focused. I approach each session with the understanding that the individual is the expert on themselves and that they bring a unique set of needs, goals and strengths. My belief is that my role is to help empower and guide each individual to see their potential and get "unstuck" from patterns that have not and are not working for them. My number one priority is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel supported in order to explore your experiences and challenges. That being said, our first session will be focused on building rapport. You will find yourself sharing about who you are and what has brought you to seek out therapy. We will talk about your history and background and begin to explore your initial goals.
