Biography: Dr. Coromilas graduated cum laude from Columbia College, Columbia University and earned her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and The Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS). She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, followed by Dermatology residency at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Dermatology. After completion of her Internal Medicine and Dermatology training, Dr. Coromilas completed the Complex Medical Dermatology Fellowship at University of Pennsylvania under the mentorship of Dr. Misha Rosenbach. She specializes in providing care for patients with complex medical dermatologic conditions such as granulomatous skin conditions, hidradenitis suppurativa, cutaneous complications of inflammatory bowel disease, pyoderma gangrenosum, and autoimmune conditions of the skin such as lupus, dermatomyositis, and autoimmune blistering disorders. She has an interest in caring for patients with cutaneous adverse effects of oncologic therapy including immune related adverse events due to immune checkpoint inhibitors. Dr. Coromilas is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), as well as a member of the Medical Dermatology Society, Society of Dermatology Hospitalists, and Women's Dermatologic Society (WDS). She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has spoken at local and national dermatology conferences

Biography: Dr. Lauren is an Associate Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and medical degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons where she was elected to AlphaOmega Alpha Honor Society. She completed residency training in Pediatrics at the Children'sHospital of Philadelphia where she was selected as chief resident. Dr. Lauren then returned to Columbia University to complete her Dermatology residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Following her training in Dermatology, she completed a Pediatric Dermatology Fellowship under the tutelage of Dr. Maria Garzon. Dr. Lauren is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). She is a member of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, the PediatricDermatology Research Alliance, and is a current executive committee member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Section on Dermatology. She actively participates in clinical studies, has contributed to the medical literature, and has authored book chapters in both dermatology and pediatrics. Her areas of interest within pediatric dermatology include atopic dermatitis/inflammatory skin disorders, vascular birthmarks, neonatal dermatology, and medical education.

Biography: Maria Garzon, M.D. is Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S) and the Director of the Division of Pediatric Dermatology at NYP Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. With a significant body of published research, leadership and teaching experience, Dr. Garzon is an internationally recognized leader in pediatric dermatology. She is a leading expert on the care of children and adolescents with vascular anomalies, particularly hemangiomas and vascular malformations. Dr. Garzon is the Founder and Co-Director of the NYP/Columbia University Irving Medical Center (NYP/CUIMC) Interdisciplinary Vascular Anomalies Group, a founding member and past President of the Hemangioma Investigator Group (HIG) and a founding member of the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA). She is a past President of both the Society for Pediatric Dermatology and the New York Dermatological Society. She was elected to the Academy of Clinical Excellence (ACE) at VP&S and named a Samberg Scholar at NYP Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Dr. Garzon has authored numerous articles and book chapters and has lectured at many national and international meetings including the American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Pediatrics, Pediatric Academic Societies, World Congress of Pediatric Dermatology, National Institute of Health and International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies.
