Biography: Aaron Ilano, MD is a Vascular Surgeon and a member of Einstein Healthcare Network's Vascular Surgery team. Dr. Ilano obtained his medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed a General Surgery residency and Vascular Surgery fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Dr. Ilano is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Ilano is available to see patients at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Eon Shin possesses a deep enthusiasm for the practice of hand surgery, not only for the concrete, three-dimensional thinking needed to understand the upper extremitys function, but because of the immediacy of the interventions and the capacity to enhance peoples lives in a significant way. Interventions are sometimes as simple as a corticosteroid injection into a tendon sheath. Other patients may need multiple reconstructive surgeries to regain use of a damaged limb. Dr. Shin and his physician assistant, Lauren Moody PA-C, enjoy being able to help all people at different stages of life and approach every patient with the utmost dignity, respect, and professionalism.

Biography: Nadia Awad, MD, joins Einstein Healthcare Network as a board-eligible vascular surgeon with a special interest in aortic, carotid, and peripheral arterial disease. She is a frequent presenter at national surgical conferences and is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery. Dr. Awad received her medical degree from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She completed her internship and residency in general surgery at Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she was recognized throughout her residency for excellence in leadership, teaching, and research. She furthered her medical training with a vascular surgery fellowship at Cooper University Hospital. Dr. Awad is seeing patients at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia and Plymouth Meeting.

Dr. Raphael specializes in the treatment of chronic and traumatic conditions of the hand, wrist and elbow. He is regionally recognized for his proficiency in today's most advanced orthopedic surgery procedures, including arthroscopy, microsurgery, replantation, free-tissue transfer, nervesurgery and reconstruction.
