Biography: I was born and raised in a small town in beautiful Upstate New York. Living in a rural area gave me the opportunity to see the important role that primary care physicians play in the community. I was mentored by a local family physician and from him I learned to engage with patients on a more personal level. As a result, my style and bedside manner is laid back, interactive, conversational and unique to each patient I encounter. Most recently I worked as a locum tenens (travel) physician in different cities and towns in Wisconsin. I was immediately drawn to the culture of medicine in the Midwest. I quickly developed strong collegial relationships and really enjoyed the level of engagement with patients. So, I decided that I wanted to permanently move to the Midwest to practice. My true passion is travel. I've traveled extensively on all six inhabited continents and I consider my travels the most fulfilling and satisfying experiences of my life. I am who I am today because of the diverse people and cultures that I have had the opportunity to experience in my travels.

Biography: I am a family medicine doctor currently practicing mostly in sports and musculoskeletal medicine. In the past, my practice covered the full spectrum of family medicine, including obstetrics and pediatrics. I really enjoyed it and am glad to have had that opportunity. Today, more than half of my practice is sports medicine and primary care orthopedics for all ages. My family medicine practice is limited to adults. I enjoy being a primary care doctor and establishing long-term relationships, but I also feel that I can provide a level of expertise for people with muscle and joint problems. I encourage people to stay active over their lifetime, doing what they love to do if at all possible, and I try to practice what I preach.

Biography: In my over 10 years of practicing family medicine, I've always taken a personal approach in caring for my patients. I take the time to understand their particular situation and clarify any questions they may have. I want my patients to feel comfortable reaching out me, because an open dialogue with your physician is critical to sustaining and improving one's health. I am particularly passionate about women's health, behavioral health, preventative care and promoting good exercise and dietary habits. My role does not end simply with a prescription at each visit. I believe in partnering with you in identifying the right treatment or lifestyle changes needed by you and your family for the long term. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy running, dabbling in art and photography, and as a new resident of Minnesota, cross country skiing. I'm also an avid traveler and enjoy off-the-beaten path discoveries you don't find in guidebooks. Having lived in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in the US, I now look forward to getting to know the Twin Cities and its wonderful residents better.
