Biography: Erin Stenberg, PA-C is an Internist who practices in Bolivia, NC. Erin Stenberg, PA-C is affiliated with Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

Biography: My grandfather and I were very close. Our relationship showed me how much I value and care for the elderly population. As a student, I always loved science and continuously wanted to learn more about the human body. Medicine was an ideal way to marry my love for science and seniors. \n Internal medicine allowed me to focus on learning as much as possible about adult medicine - and become a generalist (an internal medicine doctor) with a specialty (geriatrics). \n The relationships patients and their physicians forge in primary care lead to better care and better outcomes. Forming long-term patient relationships is one of the most rewarding things about my career. I strive to make patients feel comfortable and confident in me as their primary care physician. \n While in medical school at VCOM (Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine), I served as president of the VCOM Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society. \n I was raised in Maryland, but my family moved to Shallotte when I was in college. It had always been my desire to move to the coast and put down roots there. When I first met my husband - a pediatrician - in medical school, we discovered we shared the same dream. We're thrilled to live and work exactly where we always wanted to be. \n So, in our free time, you can probably find us walking or lounging on the beach. I also love playing pickleball and spending time with family, friends and our cat, Nelly.
